Creative Movement is designed for children ages two through five years old. Creative Movement uses a variety of Christian music while learning somersaults, cartwheels, body awareness, musical instruments, and dancing. We currently offer two classes a week and classes do require parent participation. The classes are 30-45 minutes and are available Thursday morning and afternoon. Dance Class is designed for students from 4 years old through adults and consists of a warm-up, stretching, turning and leaping, technique work, and learning a dance routine to Christian music. No experience is necessary. All levels of dance ability are welcome and encouraged. For beginners under the age of five, one year of Creative Movement is suggested prior to signing up for this class. A variety of dance styles are taught to the students throughout the duration of the Christian dance class with the primary focus being Jazz and Lyrical Ballet . We will have open discussion on favorite verses and important topics at the end of the class, which students can choose to join or just listen. We currently offer 15 classes a week. The classes range from 45 minutes to 1 1/4 hour and are held Monday evenings and Thursday afternoon (great for home schooled youth). For more information, call (614) 901-8325 and ask for Kelley.
