Kelley Haney, Founder/Creative Director
Kelley is a Homeschool mom and dance teacher. She and her husband Dave are the proud parents of 5 children, Samantha, Jeffrey, James, Matthew and Miranda. In the “dance world” Kelley is known for her creative choreography, attention to detail and love for children. She prayerfully chooses music and choreography for her classes. She leads the Leap of Faith staff with Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.”
Kelley has studied many different styles of dance including; ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, kick line, pom-pon, modern, contemporary, military dance, Horton, broadway, theatre dance, parade and production dance, but her primary dance focus throughout her life has been Jazz and Lyrical Ballet. She is certified in CPR, Sports Medicine and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America instructor. She often travels to New York City in the summer to study at Alvin Ailey, Steps and Broadway Dance Centers to stay current on the latest changes in dance styles. Her performance experience includes dancing since the age of four at a variety of studios, Westerville North High School Drill Team captain, University of Hawaii Rainbow Dancer 1986-1989, multiple Hula Bowl halftime shows and the Columbus Crewzer dance captain.
Kelley began choreographing at the age of 16 for central Ohio High School dance teams, dance camps nationwide, and pageant soloists. She has also choreographed for Walt Disney World, Hawaii's Hula Bowl, the Pittsburgh Steelers halftime show and the Columbus Crewzers. Kelley has judged pageants and dance competitions since 1989. She has coached dance teams and solo contestants for 27 years and has helped them earn 100's of state and national titles and crowns. Some of Kelley's personal awards include, Miss All American, Miss Showcase Star, Miss Dance Ohio, Miss Dance USA pageant finalist, a four year full dance scholarship to the University of Hawaii and she was awarded the 1999-2000 Showcase of America Director of the Year Award.
Kelley humbly attributes all of the above success to our Lord and Savior. “With Christ all things are possible”.

Dawn Hostetler - Co-Director/Head Instructor
Dawn Hostetler, Co-Director/Head Instructor, has been blessed to have had dance in her life since childhood. Dawn joined Leap of Faith Dance Company in 2007. She believes that the morals, values and training that students receive from this dance ministry go beyond any other dance experience she has ever been a part of. She loves working with children and is privileged to have a wonderful husband, Brandon, who supports her dance career.
Dawn began her dance profession at the New Traditions Dance Co. in Mansfield, OH at the age of seven. She grew up on competitive teams and was trained in Jazz, Pom Pon, Ballet, Baton, Kick, Novelty and Hip Hop. She was also captain of her elementary, junior and senior teams. Dawn also found her niche for choreography and student teaching at a very young age. She competed in over 50 Regional and 10 State/National Competitions while winning the National Title and Gold Medal in 1994.
She was also Junior Miss Showstopper 1990, 1st Runner-up Junior Miss Dance Ohio 1990-1991 and performed in the CompUSA Florida Citrus Bowl in 1996.
Dawn pursued her dance education at The Ohio State University as a member of the Buckeye Dance Force. She achieved captain her junior year and competed at three Universal Dance Association collegiate competitions on ESPN. She also choreographed for OSU basketball half-time shows, grand opening of the Schottenstein center, Boston University, Showcase Camps & Productions and the Westerville Dance Force under direction of Kelley Haney.
Her love for dance continued in San Diego, CA where she choreographed for San Diego State University and coached the El Capitan High School dance team. El Capitan received many Regional and National awards throughout the Los Angeles area. She was also the head coach for the senior team at iYooWee in Westerville, OH. They achieved two Gold Medals and one Silver at Showcase State Nationals and they won the Ultimate Cup in Pom Pon during the 2010 Florida COA Nationals.
She continues to work with Showcase and Creative Dance Productions as a choreographer and judge. Dawn has found her home at Leap of Faith and feels blessed that the Lord has led her here!
